Camps Overview
X4 Catching Max Camps provide a data driven training platform that delivers advanced catching training for ages 8-18U catchers. Maximize your POP times, blocking & receiving ratios, footwork, & more. Build your lower half power & optimize your throwing efficiencies with the VPX Coordinating Staff whom train 20+ MLB teams & over 100 NCAA baseball & softball programs nationwide!
➟ WEEK 1
ONBOARDING PROCESS
>> Week 1 of every X4 Catching Max Camp is dedicated towards the onboarding process.
>> Records catcher's analytics, metrics, & biomechanics data.
>> Uploads all data into catcher's virtual locker for evaluations, assessment planning, & review.
>> A VPX Catching Coordinator will utilize their expertise & the onboarding data to formulate the personalized training process.
➟ WEEKS 2-5
TRAINING PROCESS
>> After we onboard, the next 4 weeks are dedicated towards developing elite catching skills.
>> Weeks 2-4 train all the catching components of POP time efficiency, throwing mechanics, blocking, receiving, footwork, & more.
>> Week 5 is focused upon final assessments, data gathering, & progress evaluations.
>> Catchers will consistently utilize X4 Labs, KOTH Trainers, & VPX Training Harnesses throughout entire 5 week camp.

>> POP time efficiency.
>> Arm strength & throwing mechanics improvement.
>> Lower half drive force, GRF, & kinetic chain reaction efficiency.
>> Hip separation degree force & vector flexation levels.
>> Improved blocking & receiving ratings.
>> Overall catching performance for fielding bunts, throw downs, & tags.

>> Every Sunday. 8-12U session (5:00-6:20PM) or 13-18U session (5:50-7:10PM).

>> TEAMS: $175 per catcher. 3 catcher minimum.
