UA Prospect United WA has announced expansion plans for the 2023 season. Tryouts will start in July 2022 and will be announced shortly on this website. Check website for tryout details, times, and days in June.
For the 2023 season, UA Prospect United WA will be adding more teams between the ages of 8U - 18U. Each age division will provide three level specific baseball teams that will have experienced coaching staffs, a full off season of Winter training with VPX, and a competitive baseball season in 2023.
Level specific teams provide any level of talent with the opportunity to optimize playing time, wins, and player development. This provides the right fit towards the individual athlete's performance needs.
"We work hard at finding the right mix of playing time and optimized playing opportunity. Kids are at different growth rates, which widely varies talent levels. This has required UA Prospect United to provide skill specific teams that meet the demand." Stated UA Prospect United National Director Jim Parque.
National Showcase teams play the best teams around and travel nationally to major events. Tournament Elite teams play top regional talent and travel to mid tier events. Regional Prospect teams play locally and focus upon player development and building team performance with increased practice loads.
UA Prospect United is the official travel baseball program of Under Armour and has five national affiliates across the United States. This has created a fully encompassing baseball experience for its athletes, which has earned a Top 100 ranking by Baseball Youth and Baseball America.
