UA Prospect United is the official brand of Under Armour Baseball and is a Top 100 ranked travel baseball program by Baseball Youth and Baseball America. Coming this Summer 2022, UA Prospect United will add another national affiliate that will be located in Dubuque, Iowa.

Prospect United Iowa will feature 8U - 18U power baseball teams whom will train in the brand new 20,000 square foot K-Zone facility, which is currently being built. 

"We are truly excited about the potential here. Dubuque has a strong baseball and softball community that is serious about competing on a national level. By bringing UA Prospect United to our community, we see big things happening for these athletes."  Stated UA Prospect United Iowa Director and K-Zone owner Mike Edmonds.

Tryouts are expected to be announced shortly for all UA Prospect United Iowa teams. Check K-Zone's website at https://k-zonetraining.com/ for more info. 

All teams will be provided a full off season of top level training, a competitive season, and multiple opportunities for NCAA recruiting and showcasing.

"We are setting our athletes up for success with UA Prospect United and VPX's new training platform X4. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but the results are going to be tremendous for our community."  Stated Edmonds.

Another expansion for UA Prospect United is more teams coming to the Washington affiliate, which trains out of Big League Edge. New teams are being added for the 2023 baseball season, with tryouts set to start in July 2022.

"We have always had the demand, as our tryouts continually prove to increase in athlete numbers. However, our biggest obstacle was finding qualified coaches who truly care about the athletes, but also have a good resume."  State UA Prospect United National Director and former MLB player Jim Parque.

Having signed qualified coaches, UA Prospect United WA will expand teams throughout the 8U - 18U brackets. For 2023, there will be three level specific teams per age. All teams will be provided full off season and in-season player development with X4 and VPX.

"Player development is why our teams do so well. We offer three level specific teams per age to give our athletes the right fit that matches current ability with optimized playing time. It does nobody any good to sit the bench or play on a team that does not maximize one's talents. And this is why we have three level specific teams."  Stated UA Prospect United Teams Director Sean Taunt.

Each age will feature a national showcase, tournament elite, and regional prospect team. The national showcase team plays a highly competitive schedule and travels nationally. The tournament elite level plays top competition regionally and may travel nationally. The regional prospect team plays local events and builds performance through increased practice schedules.
