ENSURE PROPER FUNCTION AND ATTACHMENT

1. If you are in linear drive phase, ensure the resistance bands attach to a waist band D-ring that is positioned on  the outside of your back leg (resistance band 1) and in the middle of your back (resistance band 2). Do NOT position resistance band 2 in the middle of your stomach. Ensure all resistance bands are attached to the waist belt securely and attach to your foot properly.

 

2. If you are in rotational thrust phase, ensure the resistance bands attach to a waist band D-ring that is positioned on the outside of your front leg (resistanace band 1) and in the middle of your back (resistance band 2). Do NOT position resistance band 2 in the middle of your stomach. Ensure all resistance bands are attached to the waist belt securely and attach to your foot properly.

 

3. Ensure your waist belt harness is securely attached and does not "sag" or droop on your waist. ADDITIONALLY, position waist belt harness above hips so that the bottom of the harness rests securely on the top of your hips. It should wrap around your lower stomach - NOT YOUR HIPS.

 

4. Be sure you only train with long pants or tights that cover your legs so that the resistance bands move smoothly in order to function properly. Only use with athletic shoes on.

 

 

PERFORMANCE OVERSIGHT AND COMPARISON ANALYSIS

1. Make a video of yourself hitting (off a tee only) or throwing off a mound (in a bullpen only). Film open side only (the side your chest is facing) and capture 10-15 reps of your swing or fastball. Conduct this on your phone or Ipad and save in a form that can be emailed to Info@veloprobaseball.com or posted on YouTube.com. ENSURE YOU CAN TAKE A SECOND VIDEO TO COMPARE TO THIS VIDEO (AS DESCRIBED IN STEP #4 BELOW) THAT IS CAPTURED IN THE SAME LOCATION AND POTENTIALLY IN THE SAME EXACT PLACE. THIS ENSURES PROPER COMPARISONS FOR A "BEFORE" AND "AFTER" EVALUATION. Make sure you have analytics shown in your video to properly track performance data.

 

2. When conducting your initial hitting or pitching session (as described in Step #1), utilize analytics. For pitchers, all is required is a radar gun. For hitters, utilize Zepp bat, Blast Motion, or any hitting analytics app AND take your exit hand speed readings. This is an important aspect to tracking your performance gains. Make sure to have the hitting analytics screen or radar gun readings shown in your initial video (as described in Step #1). Analytics are required to ensure VeloPRO can help your training process in the event you run into issues.

 

3. Practice for 3 weeks with your VeloPRO movement enhancement system 5-6 days per week and make sure to follow all the training phase and procedures - as provided on our training tips and insights page. We suggest a minimum of 30min PER WORKOUT. USE ANALYTICS ATLEAST ONE TIME PER WEEK TO TRACK PROGRESS.

 

3. Take a video at the end of the 3 week training progression. This video should follow all the procedures and videography requirements of your first video (described in Step #1). Additionally, utilize analytics and show them in your this video. Analytics filming requirements are described in Step #2.

 

4. Review your analytics changes and analyze the motion of your swing or pitching delivery in your videos. You should see significant performance gains (as described above under 'Pitchers' or 'Hitters'). If you do not and feel your VeloPRO product has not helped your game, send us both videos (as described in Steps #1 and #4). We will review the videos and guide you through a training process that will help you with gaining performance. If, after this training process has not helped, you still are not getting performance gains - VeloPRO will refund your money no questions asked.

BERNSTEIN PRINCIPLE - Originated by Soviet neurologist, Nikolai Bernstein, this scientific principle states that the body will organize itself in accordance to the overall goal of balance and movement. 

VeloPRO Baseball/Big League Edge warrants to the original purchaser of any VeloPRO Baseball product(s) that the product will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does NOT cover damages resulting from:

 

1. Accident.

2. Misuse or usage outside intended usage of product.

3. Abuse.

4. Anticipated wear and tear. Foot strap may experience accelerated wear due to (1) being located outside the shoe and (2) being in constant contact with the ground.

5. Lost merchandise or damage from the elements.

 

Do not leave product(s) outside, as prolonged exposure to sun and rain will degrade them. Damage due to weather exposure is not covered under warranty. To start warranty process, email Info@Veloprobaseball.com with the following information:

WHAT ARE SIZES OF VL HARNESS, THIGH STRAP, BUNGEES, AND FOOT STRAPS?

The VL Harness is a "one size fits all" (from 20" to 42" pant waist sizes). Foot straps are universal fits. Thigh strap will fit any 16" to 26" thigh circumference. Circumference is measured above knee joint, as strap is to be positioned on the lower thigh and right above knee cap (not mid thigh). Bungee cords are to be worn with tension during RESTING position of athlete. They will stretch out to 41". To measure if resistance bungee will fit, measure from your ankle to your hip bone.

Reason being is that energy is what hitters and pitchers are trying to move, and if you are efficient in such, you peak your performance. Mechanics are robotic steps within a move. VeloPRO Baseball trains the entire move - rather than one step in the process.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE MY VELOCITY LOAD HARNESS?

To get the marketed performance gains we are seeing nationally, you must utilize your VL Harness 3-4 days per week, for 30min at a time. 3 weeks or less is the time frame from which you will see change. Ensure you are using it properly and adhering to all player development programming.

HOW DO I OPTIMIZE MY VELOPRO BASEBALL TRAINING PROCESS?

There are 3 phases to your VeloPRO training process - (1) linear drive phase, (2) rotational torque phase, (3) underload and overload phase. All three phases are required to maximize your training. Linear drive phase will have the main resistance along your back hip. Rotational torque phase will place the main resistance along your front hip. Under/overload phase will repeat "linear drive" and "rotational torque" phases, but require you to do it quicker and stabilize stronger.

WHAT DRILLS CAN I USE MY VELOCITY LOAD HARNESS WITH?

The greatest advantage of the VL Harness is its universal performance. You can use it during any drill, bullpen, throwing, hitting, pitching, batting practice, or practice logistic you wish. Additionally, we recommend you use it during active warm up, agility work, and strength training. This keeps your motor pattern training peaked during any type of athletic movement, as VeloPRO Baseball trains MOVEMENT - not mechanics. Illegal to use in a game (although our clients state they wish they could).

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RETRAIN MOTOR PATTERNS TO PEAK ATHLETIC MOVEMENT?

Nationally, our clients are seeing results within 3 weeks or less (with consistent and proper usage). You have to USE your VL Harness, as there is no "magic fix" to performance. Additionally, motor and movement patterns revert back quickly, so consistent usage is required. This keeps your athletic movement peaked so that old motor patterns do not revert your movements back into deficient performance. Just like in strength training, your body is a muscle that needs refinement and training, and baseball is no different.

DOES THE VELOCITY LOAD HARNESS DEVELOP STRENGTH?

One of the best features of the VL Harness is that it trains MOVEMENT specific strength while you practice. Our clients consistently state their lower half is fatigued after a VeloPRO training session. This is because the resistance contours your positioning and sports specific movements - all the while training strength of flexors, stabilizers, and fast twitch muscle fibers. Additionally, your bigger muscle groups are having to apply more accel to decel force to ensure proper movement. All of this combines for not only a great strength workout, but performance gains. We do, however, recommend you strength train on top of using the VL Harness.

 

 

DOES VELOPRO BASEBALL REDUCE INJURY RISK?

Although it is impossible to track injury prevention or risk to such, correlations do exist. Since VeloPRO Baseball and our VL Harness DIRECTLY train core support to move quicker and keep your upper half erect, injury risk is reduced and prevention of such is maximized. Injury during any athletic activity is usually caused by a lack of support. Most popularized weighted baseball programs train your arm to move faster, but ignore the #1 component to velocity - supporting it so you can command it.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

You have 7 days after receipt of product to return for full refund. Product must be in orginal packaging and be UNUSED to receive refund. You will be charged for item(s) if product is deemed used after inspection. You must contact customer service to initiate refund. Email info@veloprobaseball.com and provide your customer name and order number. You will receive a RMA code. RMA code must be visible on outside mailing.  Customer is repsonsible for return shipping and must ship within 7 days. Special order products are final sale.  VeloPRO will be responsible for shipping and exchange for any defective product(s). If product(s) does not fit properly, customer is responsible for any shipping and handling fees for exchange. Refer to above FAQ for any fitting and/or sizing concern(s). Make sure to take your thigh size ABOVE YOUR KNEE CAP (not mid thigh) if purchasing any thigh strap. Ensure your pant waist size is between 20" and 42". Resistance bungees need to stretch from your ankle to your back hip bone.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF A RESISTANCE BUNGEE OR FOOT STRAP BREAKS?

We have extra resistance bungees and foot straps that can be purchased or replaced. Email Info@veloprobaseball.com with your (1) purchase transaction ID, (2) name, and (3) email you used to purchase items with, to get a replacement. VeloPRO Baseball will pay for shipping and handling. Resistance bungees and foot straps have a warranty of 30 days. Any breakage outside this 30 day warranty will not result in any free replacements.
